Moscow Farmers Market

The Farmers Market has become a popular Moscow tradition since it was first established in 1977. The Saturday morning event celebrates local farmers, artists, craftspeople and musicians by providing them with an opportunity to interact directly with the community and its visitors. Highlights include fresh produce, meat, delicious homemade baked goods, healthy nursery plants, beautiful flowers and quality handmade crafts. The market is located downtown in Friendship Square next to the Moscow Hotel. It is held each Saturday, May through October, from 8:00am - 1:00pm. Local musicians perform from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. each week.

Eat Local - Eat Well

Eat Local Eat Well

Don’t miss this fun new program at the Farmers Market with free food tasting starting at 10am!

This summer the Farmers Market will feature Eat Local – Eat Well, a new program offering local seasonal food tasting, nutritional information, weekly recipes, and food demonstrations. Eat Local – Eat Well is made possible by a USDA Farmers Market Promotion Program grant to increase consumption and enjoyment of local produce, grains, and legumes. A Registered Dietitian and UI nutrition inter will offer great new ways to experience the fresh produce grown in our area.
