Description
Develop your drawing skills and hand-eye coordination while working from observation, not photographs. Students will learn basic traditional drawing techniques such as line, structure, value/shading and cross-hatching, as well as composition.
Adult Drawing Workshop Materials List
- 11x14 (24 sheet) pad of white drawing paper
- 2 sheets of charcoal paper (Strathmore brand is good)
- 1 pack White Conte Chalk
- Graphite Pencils – at least 1 of each - 2b, 4B, 6B
- 2 Charcoal Pencils – Medium and Soft – General’s Brand
- 2 sticks Compressed Charcoal
- Vine Charcoal – Medium or Soft
- Kneaded Eraser
- White (hard) Eraser
- Blending Stump or Chamois Cloth
- Knitting Needle or 12" metal skewer, or equivalent
- Pencil Sharpener – Manual
- Supply Box to hold materials
- Drawing Board that can accommodate pad of paper

Description
Students will have fun as they create brightly colored pictures of animals, flowers, or designs on glass. Students will also be exposed to basics of drawing and painting before they make “eye-catching” pictures. In addition, they will learn about different styles of painting on glass.
No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided.
