Safe Routes to School - 'D' Street

This project is federally funded by a Safe Routes to School grant from the Idaho Transportation Department and will include new sidewalk and curb along the south side of 'D' Street and also ADA compliant vehicle approaches (driveways), pedestrian ramps and block retaining walls where required. Construction will take place along the south side of 'D' Street from Adams Street to Monroe Street.

Once the construction starts, sections of the road and sidewalk may be closed at times to provide a safe work zone for both construction workers and the traveling public.  Local access to driveways will be maintained during construction whenever possible.

This project is now substantially complete! Thank you for your patients during construction and enjoy the new stretch of sidewalk and facilities.
