Parks and Recreation
In Moscow, we are very fortunate to have a host of recreational activities right here in our own backyard. From paved trails, to established parks, to local recreation facilities both indoors and out, to the great list of programmed offerings, Moscow is a shining example of a community where we can truly work and play.

Mountain View Park Dog Park and Athletic Fields Closed due to Conditions
March 13, 2017 (Moscow, Idaho) – The City of Moscow has closed the athletic fields and Dog Park at Mountain View Park due to wet conditions until further notice. The turf in this area is prone to damage with the wet conditions and use. In an effort to protect the park asset for the season, the City asks the public to honor the closure until the area has had time to dry and reopen. The City will reassess the area frequently to determine a reopening date. The City of Moscow would like to thank the public for their patience through this closure.
For more information, please contact David Schott, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director, at (208) 883-7098 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
