Information on Aerial Spraying

During the spring season aerial spraying occurs in many areas of our region.  The City of Moscow Sustainable Environment Commission would like to provide information and resources for those who are accidentally sprayed, known as pesticide drift, caused by a spray plane.

The Idaho State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) provides contact information for those wishing to report inappropriate use of pesticide application.  To report a complaint, concern, or question about a possible pesticide misuse including pesticide drift onto humans, plants or animals, applications by unlicensed individuals, improper pesticide disposal, or other pesticide related issues, the first step is to contact the ISDA at the contact listed below. A complaint form is offered by the ISDA at http://www.agri.idaho.gov/Categories/Pesticides/licensing/licensingformsmain.php.  When contacting the ISDA, please be prepared to provide as much information as possible concerning the incident.  It is also advised that you prepare a written statement concerning the incident as soon as possible.
