​Main Street Grind and Inlay Project

The City of Moscow is moving forward with Phase II of the Main Street grind and inlay project on Main Street between 6th and 'A' Streets. Construction on Main Street will continue through June. 

Main Street will be closed during the day while work is performed, but open during evenings and weekends. Citizens are asked to be aware of detours throughout downtown. Work is not anticipated to affect the Moscow Farmers Market.

Work previously completed on this downtown project includes replacement of 44 water services and three fire hydrants. Water services were replaced to avoid potential damage by those systems to the newly installed pavement.

Phase II is now complete ahead of schedule! Thank you for your patience.

Phase III

The final phase of the project, will apply a slurry seal to the entire roadway surface, including the parking areas.  This will be conducted in late July-Early August and will result in minimal traffic disruption.
