Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport Realignment

Opened in 1932, the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport (PUW) has served as an important and valuable community asset as the region's transportation gateway to the world. The Airport serves a number of users and constituencies, including:

Pullman Moscow Regional Airport
  • The general public through commercial flights
  • Washington State University and University of Idaho charters
  • Corporate and general aviation needs
  • Government, military and medical operations

A number of factors related to runway configuration, location, and instrumentation mean that the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport does not meet design standards for commercial, charter, and corporate aircraft currently using the Airport. This realignment project is crucial to maintaining the needed air service for our communities in order to continue to provide the relied upon air travel for our land-grant institutions, local corporations, first responders and more.
