Sustainability

The City of Moscow is dedicated to the sustainability of our community both locally and globally. As such, the City of Moscow has worked with a sustainability intern since the year 2007 on a variety of sustainable initiatives. Beginning in 2014, the City contracted with an AmeriCorps service member to assist in these endeavors. Sustainability work has been instrumental in developing and promoting a host of initiatives including:

  • A sustainable purchasing guideline report
  • Earth Week activities
  • The City of Moscow Greenhouse Gas report and updates
  • Assistance with the Moscow EcoDriver program
