iCount is an annual bicycle and pedestrian counting effort that helps document bicycle and pedestrian travel in our community. We track usage and can review the needs for active travel investments.
iCount is a volunteer event. If you are interested in participating in this project, email Kelli Cooper to volunteer. We'll have two counting sessions each year in April one morning count from 7 to 9 a.m. and afternoon count from 4 to 6 p.m. Recruit a friend to help you count!
Our goal each year is to count 20 locations both morning and evening. These are the same locations we've counted in the previous years and we look forward to continuing the track the activity at these spots. As a volunteer we ask that you join us for a simple and fun training session the day before, to be held at City Hall or on the University of Idaho campus. This training gives a quick overview of the counting process and is where you pick up you counting forms for the days count.
