Youth Scholarship Program

Moscow Parks and Recreation's Youth Scholarship Fund helps to provide eligible children with the opportunity to participate in programs and activities that otherwise might not be financially accessible to them.  The City of Moscow provides a maximum of $18,000 per year to the scholarship program, which is available to qualified children on a first-come, first-served basis.  Each qualified child is eligible for a maximum of $200 limit per individual, with a limit of $500 per family, or until scholarship funds are depleted.  Moscow residency is required, with the exception of donations and grants not dedicated specifically to residents; when available, these funds may be used for non-resident children on a first-come, first-served basis.  A parent or caregiver is required to request the scholarship.

Proof of eligibility is required. The following are accepted as proof of eligibility:

  2. Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) with their card
  3. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) with their card
