On behalf of the dedicated men and women of the Moscow Police Department, I welcome you to our website and thank you for your interest in our agency.

The Moscow Police Department is committed to keeping the City of Moscow and the University of Idaho a safe and peaceful community where one can seek a college degree, go to work, visit, and recreate while enjoying living without apprehension. Our community also offers cultural attractions such as thePeople walking on Main St. enjoying the Moscow Farmers Market Farmer's Market, Art Walk, the Renaissance Fair, the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival and many others. Our department members recognize and value the responsibility of serving our community in a respectful and helpful manner and the importance of preserving the public trust as avowed in our oath of office and code of ethics.

The department is especially thankful to our supportive community and their involvement for ensuring mission success. We are also appreciative and understand we could not fulfill our obligations without the vital assistance of the Mayor, City Council, and associated City departments.
