Parks & PATHWAYS

Our Beautiful Parks & Pathways

Moscow offers a wide variety of park facilities to satisfy your recreation needs.  You will find everything, from quiet picnic spots with opportunities for viewing wildlife, playgrounds for kids of all ages, places to relax in the sun, or participate in your favorite outdoor sports and activities. Many of our parks are connected by the Paradise Path which runs east to west from the Latah Trail to the Bill Chipman Trail, connecting the University of Idaho campus and downtown Moscow.

Shelter Rentals

Park picnic shelters are available to the public for a rental fee of $25 (plus tax). Shelters can be rented by stopping at the Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center, 1724 East F Street, weekdays between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (except holidays), or by visiting our Parks & Rec Registration/Reservation website.  For information about planning an event in one of the City of Moscow's parks, please contact the Moscow Parks and Recreation office at 208.883.7084.

Facility Recycling Fee

The City of Moscow has implemented a policy of requiring a fee of $50 (plus tax) to be paid to the City in addition to any City Park and/or facility rental charges for events where the event coordinator or City reasonably anticipates the attendance of more than fifty (50) participants. The recycling fee will be returned to the event coordinator upon the completion of successful recycling for which the fee is made.
