Accounting Clerk - Temporary

This position provides direct support to the entire Finance Department of the City of Moscow.  Responsibilities include providing customer service to all, assisting in processing payments, updating and maintaining records, and more.  This position is temporary but will provide a wealth of experience for the right candidate.

Human Resources Specialist

Under the direction of the Deputy City Supervisor – Recreation, Culture & Employee Services, the Human Resources Specialist is the primary point of contact and is a full-service resource for all employees and volunteers. This position is a primary resource for workforce planning, employment, development, positions evaluations, employee relations and recognition, and risk management.  Duties include recruitment, including promotional outreach, screening job candidates, coordinating interviews, providing orientation sessions, and coordinating onboarding for new employees.  Other responsibilities include benefits administration, employee retention programming, employee satisfaction and productivity programs, and providing general administrative duties.

Street Maintenance Worker (Apprentice, Journey, or Senior)

The City of Moscow is looking for a highly motivated, positive person to join the Public Works Department as a Street Maintenance Apprentice, Journey, or Senior Maintenance Worker.  Applicants will perform duties in construction, maintenance, and repair of City streets, right-of-way vegetation, sign maintenance, hardscape, street lighting, and fiberoptic network maintenance. Duties also include assisting in the operation of a variety of equipment used in street and storm maintenance.

WRRF Operator (Apprentice, Journey or Senior)

The City of Moscow is looking for a highly motivated, positive person to join the Public Works Department as a WRRF Apprentice, Journey, or Senior Operator.  Activities include all aspects of maintenance and repair for the WRRF. This includes assisting with treating sanitary wastewater, operation/maintenance and repair of wastewater components, transporting Biosolids to local composting facility, and any other duty associated with the precise treatment of sanitary wastewater as assigned. Having a working knowledge of hand tools along with basic reading, writing, mathematical, and computer skills is highly desired.  

Police Officer (this position requires the Law Enforcement Application to be filled out)

The City of Moscow Police Department is seeking qualified entry and lateral candidates for the position of police officer to serve the community.

Qualified applicants must be 21 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent and able to pass the Idaho POST physical agility standard. Candidates must embrace the concept of community policing and perform a variety of specialized duties as assigned.
