The Board of Adjustment functions as a Board of Hearing Examiners, constituted to hear and decide appeals from any determination made by the Building Inspector, and to hear and grant or deny applications for conditional use and variances.
The Board consists of up to seven (7) members, each appointed for a five (5) year term or the remainder of a vacant term, by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Council. Board members are selected without respect to political affiliation. Additional information may be found in Moscow City Code Title 03, Chapter 01. To apply for the Commission please complete an application and contact the Board's Staff Liaison for any questions.
