2023 Candidate Forms

Below are links to the 2023 candidate forms for the November 7, 2023 election.  Qualifications to hold office as a City council member are:

  • At least 18 years of age;
  • A U.S. citizen;
  • The candidate's primary residence must be within the city;
  • The address of the candidate's voter registration must match the residence address provided on the candidate's declaration; and
  • Be a registered voter within the city at the time the declaration is filed.

The filing period for Declaration of Candidacy opens at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 28 and closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 8. City Hall will be closed Monday, September 4, 2023 for the Labor Day weekend.
