Due to growing health concerns in the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Mayor Lambert has directed that all non-legal or non-quasi-judicial City Commission meetings be cancelled until May 5, 2020.
City Council meetings will continue as usual, except that public comment periods are being temporarily suspended. Rather than hosting in-person public comment sessions, comments may be shared directly with the Council electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org or called directly to 208-883-7015.
Public reports on various items will be postponed, including public presentations and Commission reports.
All City Commission meetings are canceled through May 5, except for those Commissions that have legal or quasi-judicial business, including the Planning and Zoning (for application processes), Board of Adjustment, and Tree Commission on an as-needed basis only.
Appointed Commissioners should email their respective staff liaison with any questions about your particular Commission. (Email is preferable to phone calls since many City staff are working from home.)
