The Grande Ronde and Wanapum aquifers are the two major sources of Moscow’s well water. The City has five wells. Wells #2 and #3 draw water from the Wanapum System. Wells #6, #8 and #9 draw water from the Grande Ronde System. Water Treatment Operators are in charge of maintaining and repairing the water system 24/7. After the water is treated to meet regulatory standards, we distribute this potable water to more than six thousand active points of service.
