Prize Baskets, Drawings, and Giveaways
In addition to hosting several celebrations at the Market, we often field requests for gift baskets from other community events. If you are seeking promotional opportunities or are interested in donating to a specialized Market event, consider one of the following:
Where’s Waldo: Each year, BookPeople of Moscow hosts “Where’s Waldo on the Palouse” as a way for families to engage with local businesses. The Market has been one of the twenty-five participating locations for several seasons. As a participating location, staff hides several Waldos every Saturday throughout the month of July for families to try and find. Children and adults that complete their passport are eligible to win prizes donated by participating locations. Market vendors have generously donated items to make a very family-friendly prize basket full of local goodness!
Moscow Chamber Foundation Summer Soiree: The Moscow Chamber of Commerce plays a significant role in supporting and promoting the Moscow Farmers Market. Support the Chamber through their Foundation’s annual Summer Soiree in June by donating services, gift certificates, or merchandise to the silent and live auction. You can mail, e-mail, phone-in, or even drop-off your donations. Donors will be highlighted in the printed auction booklet as well as online and in the Moscow-Pullman Daily News after the event. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
National Farmers Market Week: Celebrate Farmers Market across the country with a veggie costume dance party, free treats, and prize drawings. The Market offers several themed prize baskets that shoppers and patrons can enter to win. Previous prize baskets included Canning, Regional, and Kitchen themes.
