CPR & First Aid Classes
Moscow Volunteer Fire Department offers regularly scheduled American Heart Association (AHA) CPR and First Aid classes through the City of Moscow Parks and Recreation Department. Classes are video based, instructor led courses that are open to the public. All classes are taught by volunteer EMT’s or Paramedics with our department.
Cards are digitally issued at the successful completion of the class, and valid for two years.
Current CPR/First Aid Offerings:
Heartsaver Adult, Infant, Child CPR/AED
This video-based, instructor-led course teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a cardiac emergency until EMS arrives. Skills covered in this course include what to do for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants. Class size is limited to 10 students.
Community CPR Classes are scheduled through the Moscow Parks and Recreation Department. To register for a upcoming class:

Heartsaver First Aid and Adult, Infant, Child CPR/AED
This video-based, instructor-led course teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until EMS arrives. Students learn duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers; first aid actions for medical emergencies, including severe choking, heart attack, and stroke; and skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies, including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, and bites and stings. Class size is limited to 10 students.

CPR in Schools
If you are a school teacher or youth group leader in Moscow, we have kits available for check out to teach Hands Only CPR classes to groups. This is not a certification class and does not require a AHA instructor.
Stop the Bleed
"Stop The Bleed" is a nationwide campaign to teach bleeding control and lifesaving skills to lay responders.
