- Booster Station Phase II
This project will replace and upgrade two existing below-grade booster pump stations that are at the end of their service life with above-ground water booster pump stations that are located on Indian Hills Drive and Ponderosa Drive. These new booster stations will help improve fire flow, water quality and add redundancy and reliability to the water distribution system in the area while providing more efficient means of operation by our City Water Operators.
- "D" and Main Street Intersection Improvement - Street
This project will add a left turn lane on “D” Street on the West leg of the intersection of “D” and Main Street. It will also include traffic signal modifications to add a dedicated left-turn signal. This will decrease the standard wait times at the intersection as well as increase safety in the corridor.
- Ghormley Pickleball Courts
This project will consist of the construction of four new lighted pickleball courts and associated amenities at Ghormley park. This will be the City of Moscow’s first permanent pickleball courts which will add an additional outdoor activity option for residents in the area.
- Good Samaritan Pathway Repair Project
This project consists of repairing the Good Samaritan Pathway east of Eisenhower Street that has been damaged by flooding events and tree roots. These repairs will help reduce tripping hazards, maintain ADA compliance and increase pedestrian safety.
- Indian Hills Water Main Replacement
This project is replacing and upgrading approximately 2,300 feet of 6” water main located within the Indian Hills high-pressure zone with a new 8” water main. Increasing the size of the water main will provide better fire flow protection and greater water capacity. These water line improvements, as well as the new booster station construction that will follow this summer, will help improve fire flow, water quality and add redundancy and reliability to the water distribution system in the area.
- Mountain View Park Connector
This project includes the construction of an 8-foot wide multi-use pathway at Mountain View Park to provide ADA connectivity between the two parking lots and the restroom facility. As part of this project, the current restroom will be remodeled into four family-friendly bathrooms.
- North Jackson Parking Lot Reconstruction - Street
This project will reconstruct the deteriorated pavement surface at the North Jackson Parking lot. It will include upgrades to the illumination system and adjacent sidewalks. This project will increase accessibility to parking downtown.
- South Lift Station Force Main
This project will include the upgrades to the South Lift Station sanitary sewer force main with 2500 linear feet of new larger diameter sewer main to increase capacity and allow for future development on the south side of Moscow. Work will include tie in’s to existing pipes, sidewalk and pavement restoration, and a meter vault. These upgrades will allow for redundancy for the lift station operations and provide additional capacity for future developments.
- SE Reservoir Booster Station MCC Upgrade
This project includes modifications and upgrades to the existing Southeast Booster Station. The improvements to the booster station will help provide better energy and water treatment efficiency while providing our City Water Operators the tools necessary to analyze and deliver quality water in our distribution system.
- Slurry Seal 2021
This project will include the pavement preservation surface treatments of applying Asphalt Slurry Seal Coat (Type II) to various City streets. A slurry seal is a thin layer of fine rock that is mixed with asphalt and applied to the surface of the road. It is a very inexpensive treatment option and it can have dramatic effects on the longevity of a road. The project will begin on June 14, 20201 and is expected to be completed by June 18, 2021.
