City of Moscow Response to Statewide Stay-at-Home Order

March 26, 2020 (Moscow, Idaho) -- In response to the Covid-19 Pandemic, and the State of Idaho’s Order to Self-Isolate, which may be found at https://coronavirus.idaho.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/127/2020/03/statewide-stay-home-order_032520.pdf, the City of Moscow is suspending the following services: 

  • All City buildings will be closed to the public. Please visit the City’s website at www.ci.moscow.id.us or call (208) 883-7000. Because of the anticipated call volume, please be patient as we answer questions as quickly as possible.
  • In partnership with our contractor Latah Sanitation Inc., public operations at the Moscow Recycling Center is suspended beginning Thursday, March 26th. At this time, we will continue regular curbside pickup of single-stream recycling.   Please call 208-883-7131 for any questions you may have.
  • Utility Billing continues with in-person payment capabilities being suspended.  Payments may be dropped off at the drop box at City Hall in parking lot off of Jefferson Street and may also be made online at www.ci.moscow.id.us and clicking on the pay utility bills icon.  Please call 208-883-7043 for any Utility Billing questions.
  • Essential construction permitting and inspection services along with the administration and management of all critical public and private projects will continue.  Contact the City of Moscow Community Planning and Development for more information at 208-883-7022.
  • Critical systems will continue to function including water, wastewater, and garbage service, as well as fire and police services.
