Parks Winter Restroom Closures


With winter and freezing temperatures right around the corner, the Moscow Parks and Recreation Department will begin winterizing many of our park restrooms.

The following permanent restrooms will be winterized and closed by Oct. 23: Lena Whitmore Park, Mountain View Park, Ghormley Park, and Kiwanis Park.

Permanent restrooms that are heated will remain open include: East City Park, Jim Lyle Rotary Park, Downtown restroom, and the family restroom at the Moscow School District Community Playfields.

Portable restrooms will remain open through the winter months and include: Mountain View Park, the dog park, the Eggan Youth Center, Anderson Frontier Park, Berman Creekside Park, Indian Hills Park, Itani Park, and Lola Clyde Park.

The portable restroom at the West Palouse Property will be removed for the winter months.
