Entertainment in the Park returns to East City Park

The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission announced the return of Entertainment in the Park to East City Park, July 1 and July 8.

July 1 will feature the Sesitshaya Marimba Ensemble, followed by local musician Izzy Burns. Entertainment for July 8 will feature the Border Highlanders and local bluegrass duo Beargrass.

Each evening’s entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. with a special storytime for local youth presented by the Moscow Public Library. This event is free and open to all ages.

 Entertainment in the Park is sponsored by the City of Moscow, the Moscow Arts Commission, the Friends of Moscow Public Library, the Latah County Library District and Avista.


Entertainment in the Park is an event that takes place every summer at Moscow’s East City Park. This series aligns with the Moscow Public Library’s summer reading program, which encourages school-aged children to engage in reading and learning throughout the summer. Past lineups for the event have included Traveling Lantern Theatre, The Reptile Man, Matt Baker Comedy + Stunt Show, and magic by Star Alexander.
