Golf Tournament promo_newsflash

The annual Mayor's Golf Tournament seeks to benefit local, community organizations that serve individuals who need a hand-up towards stability and independence. Since it's inception, the tournament has donated over $9,000 in proceeds to Alternatives to Violence on the Palouse and Family Promise of the Palouse. This year, proceeds will be donated to the Moscow Food Bank.

The event is a four person scramble with an 8 a.m. shotgun start at the University of Idaho Golf Course. Players may compete for Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, and Longest Putt in both Women and Men's categories, as well as two chances to win the Hole-In-One competition. Registration is $75 (plus tax) for individuals and $300 (plus tax) for teams. Register online today! Registration includes a swag bag and lunch following the tournament.

This event is hosted collaboratively through the City of Moscow Parks and Recreation Department and Community Events Division. For more information on player registration, contact Greg Morrison at or 208-883-7088. For information on sponsoring the Mayor's Golf Tournament, contact Amanda Argona at or 208-883-7132.
