The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission announced the opening of registration for the expanded Artwalk season taking place each 3rd Thursday, October-June.

Interested host locations may register now through Oct. 12 for the season’s first event to be held Oct. 21 from 4-8 p.m.

Host location registration fees are $40 for businesses and $20 for non-profits. Arts listings are available for $10 each. Businesses are encouraged to seek visual, literary, performing and culinary artists. For a list of local and regional artists, view the City of Moscow’s Artist Directory at bit.ly/moscowartistdirectory.

Artists interested in participating are encouraged to connect with local businesses to find a host location. For a list of local area businesses visit https://moscowchamber.com/location.

Registration will be facilitated online at https://moscowarts.submittable.com/submit and will be offered on a monthly basis, allowing flexibility for participants’ schedules.

The expanded Artwalk season is an opportunity to celebrate the creative community of Moscow. Businesses are encouraged to use this event to promote their regular creative offerings as well as any special arts presentations. The season finale on the 3rd Thursday of June will feature artist and host location offerings along with music, food and performance art on Main Street.

###

Moscow Artwalk is one of many events that foster the region's cultural ecosystem. Since its beginning in 2004, the event has become a highlight of the Palouse by celebrating the wealth of artistic practice in the region. Moscow Artwalk expanded in 2021 to include arts offerings at business and non-profit locations throughout the community on the 3rd Thursday of each month from October - May. The season finale on the 3rd Thursday of June features artist and host location offerings along with music, food and performance art on Main Street.
