The City of Moscow and Moscow Arts Commission announced the 3rd Thursday Artwalk event to be held on Thurs., March 17 from 4-8 p.m.
This month’s 3rd Thursday Artwalk event features visual, culinary, literary, and performing arts at six locations:
- Allegra presents paintings by Polly Walker, whose work looks just like stained glass.
- One World Cafe features Color and Gold, a show by BKS with works made of gold and palladium gilding. Bill LaVoie will play acoustic guitar from 6 – 8 p.m.
- Moscow Contemporary is the place to hear DJ Salty Trail Mix & DN_oux, playing from 5 – 7 p.m., and visitors can also enjoy the current exhibition, Ellen Vieth & Jean Arnold: A Conversation.
- Intrigue presents the work of Austin Mader, a local Moscow artist who makes hand-crafted walking sticks.
- Revolver features Chet Lawton, a multimedia artist from Arizona who is currently studying landscape architecture. Pour Company will also be on hand to serve beer.
- Third Street Gallery inside Moscow City Hall hosts the Palouse Women Artists club, which will be onsite for its monthly Drawing Circle, a monthly sketching, journaling, and mark-making group practice. BKS will have an exhibition of gold and palladium gilded artwork at The Box Gallery on the 1st floor. Visitors to City Hall can also view Un-fancy, an exhibition of visual and literary works by 26 Palouse-area artists. All visitors are invited to enjoy a piece of Chocolate Guinness cake from Bucer’s Coffeehouse & Pub.
