Changes to Curbside Single Stream Recycling

A demonstration of what can go in recycling roll carts

Has your recycling tote been marked as contaminated? We made a video with Moscow Recycling to help clear up some of the confusion!

The global recycling market is changing, and those changes have drastically affected the recycling program in Moscow, Idaho. This video explains what can still be recycled, what has to go in the trash, and what to do if your cart is tagged for contamination.

We also discuss why new restrictions in China have made it increasingly difficult for recycling centers in the northwest United States to accept items that used to be recycled.

Let us know if you have any questions about what can go in your roll cart, or reach out to Moscow Recycling at 208-882-0590.
