The City of Moscow Public Works Department and Arts Department are seeking qualifications from mural artists for a semi-permanent public artwork. The Water Filter Plant building has been selected for a mural installation on the highly-visible and busy intersection of Jackson and “A” Street. Artist(s) will have the opportunity to place a painted mural of our aquifer system, based on the image of the Generalized Geologic Cross Section Through Pullman and Moscow. The intention of this Project is to educate our citizens of the City’s water resource.
