February 26, 2020 (Moscow, Idaho) -- Help plan Moscow's first Little Free Gardens. Join AmeriCorps member, Abigail Dow, for an Open House and Community Forum on Little Free Gardens, Tues., Mar. 10 from 12 to 1 pm. The forum will take place in the Council Chambers, second floor of City Hall at 206 E. Third Street.
Those with green thumbs are encouraged to attend to share their local expertise. Those with minimal gardening experience are welcome to take part to learn about utilizing urban spaces for gardening. The intention of Moscow's Little Free Gardens project is to inspire food self-reliance and to provide fresh, seasonal produce to the community. This AmeriCorps service project is sponsored by the City of Moscow and Moscow Farmers Market.
Light snacks, coffee, and tea will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch.
