May 8, 2020 (Moscow, Idaho) -- In response to COVID-19, the Community Events Division is offering a pre-paid, contactless, pick-up location as part of the Moscow Farmers Market operations this year. Officially titled "Motor-In Moscow Farmers Market," patrons and residents may shop from Moscow Farmers Market vendors from the comfort of their home at https://www.localline.ca/motor-in-moscow-farmers-market. Paid orders are available for pick-up on Saturdays in the City Hall parking lot, 206 E. Third Street, Moscow.
The online storefront will open Tue., 9 am until Thu., 9 am each week. Customers can search for products and vendors to select goods to purchase. Customers then checkout with each vendor and select their desired Sat. pick-up time. Pick-up times are available in 15-minute intervals beginning at 8 am and ending at 12:45 pm. All customers will enter the Motor-In Farmers Market via Second Street and will be directed by staff upon entry.
To assist with streamlining, customers are requested to have the last name that their order is under displayed in their backseat passenger windows and to have vehicle trunks clear and ready to receive orders. Customers will remain in their vehicles at all times to keep traffic flowing.
The first Motor-In Moscow Farmers Market is scheduled to launch on Sat., May 16, with patrons able to shop from Tue., May 12 to Thu., May 14. Additional vendors interested in opting in to this system will be onboarded in the coming weeks.
The Motor-In Moscow Farmers Market will be held in tandem with the Moscow Farmers Market on Main Street, which has a delayed opening of Sat., Jun. 6.
