October 12, 2020 – The City of Moscow has completed the installation of the new playground at Jim Lyle Rotary Park and the playground is now open. Jim Lyle Rotary Park is located on the northwest corner of the intersection at East 'F' Street and Orchard Avenue.
The new playground replaced the aging wooden playground and includes swings, a slide, climbers, and a rubber tile safety surfacing system.
City Council approved the purchase of new playground equipment on Mar. 16, 2020, utilizing Hamilton funds after considering recommendations from the public voting process, Rotary Club of Moscow, Parks and Recreation Commission, and Public Works/Finance Committee. The new playground will include accessible playground equipment for children ages 5-12.
