Spring is on its way, and that means it’s almost vinyl wrap season! Are you excited? Because the Moscow Arts Commission sure is excited to see design submissions for installation on vinyl-wrapped signal boxes.
This annual public art project, a long-standing community favorite, features artworks on vinyl-wrapped boxes around the City of Moscow. These works will become incorporated in the temporary public art collection.
Pieces chosen by the selection panel will be displayed at locations throughout Moscow for a period of up to five years. Selected artists will each receive an honorarium of $500.
Artist 18 years of age or older who live in Latah, Nez Perce, Asotin or Whitman Counties, along with Nez Perce or Coeur d’Alene tribal members are encouraged to participate. Artists are eligible regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, marital or familial status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, and gender expression or identity.
