Artwalk 2021 is this week! We’re thrilled to celebrate the arts at City Hall with an evening of visual, literary, and culinary arts. Here’s a full rundown of what you can expect when you stop by 4-6 p.m.:
- Don’t miss the 4 p.m. micro-ribbon cutting in celebration of The Box Gallery, the newest gallery space in City Hall! Elected and appointed City officials will be on hand to help celebrate this space for smaller artistic works and micro-viewing experiences. The first exhibition will feature poems by Moscow Poet Laureate, Susan Hodgin.
- Meet Kevin Rhodes and have your official Artwalk poster signed! You can also view a small collection of Kevin’s recent works on the first floor of City Hall.
- Visit Silver & Gold, the latest exhibition on display in the Third Street Gallery. Mix and mingle on the second and third floors and view the artwork of 19 University of Idaho alumni. Works are inclusive of pieces from artists’ time as a UI student and more recent works.
- There is a lot see and do during Artwalk. Don’t let needing a snack take away from your evening’s agenda! Visit the second floor to enjoy the culinary delights of Sisters Cookies, Love’s Kombucha, and Kamiak Coffee brewed by Café Artista.
