Summer is in full bloom and Market is as busy as a bee! Hello there,
We are halfway through our 2021 season and it's been great so far! The return of the Market has been a reminder of how much we all need each other and human connection. If 2020 showed us anything, it's that this community is resilient and supportive of the things that make this area special.
For years, I have attended the Market as a community member and resident. It is one of the reasons my family lives on the Palouse and so when I saw an opportunity to be part of the Market team, I knew I had to apply for the job! Being able to experience the Market as a core staff member of the Free Range Veggie Crew has only deepened my love for Moscow, as well as my passion to see the Market continue to grow in new and exciting ways. As I continue to learn, I hope to bring a fresh perspective to the potential of the Market. We still have some great things planned this season and we will not slow down once Market is over!

#FarmersMarketsAreEssential"I think what I love most about farming is being a steward to the land we cultivate. It's a joy to witness the diversity of living things we can harbor on a farm, while simultaneously producing crops. Though not without its challenges, it's a daily reminder of nature's complexity and the responsibility we have to take care of these open spaces." - Lindsay of Smoot's Flavor Farm in Palouse, Washington
"My favorite thing about being a farmer is learning, growing, and especially tasting new varieties of produce for the Market." - Kevin of K&C Farms in Mattawa, Washington
