July 5, 2022 (Moscow, Idaho) — The City of Moscow and Moscow Arts Commission announced the opening of the submission period for the 2022-2023 Artwalk season poster artwork.
Original artwork submissions will be welcomed from artists of all ages, and will be reviewed by a selection panel made up of Artwalk community partners and organizers. The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022.
The Artwalk season poster is the visual centerpiece of the event, and along with community-wide presence in print materials, the artist and artwork are promoted on the City’s website and social media channels. The original artwork will be featured on the season poster, and the artist will have the option to create a one-night-only display of other works from their studio at one of the receptions during the Artwalk season.
The City of Moscow also welcomes the original selected artwork into the City’s Portable Collection, with a purchase amount not to exceed $600.
Artwork submission are being accepted online only, with a form available here: https://moscowarts.submittable.com/submit. No emailed or physical submissions will be accepted for this opportunity.

Moscow Artwalk is one of many events that foster the region's cultural ecosystem. Since its beginning in 2004, the event has become a highlight of the Palouse by celebrating the wealth of artistic practice in the region. The 2022-2023 Moscow Artwalk season includes visual, literary, performance, and culinary arts offerings at business and non-profit locations throughout the community on the 3rd Thursday of each month from October - May. The season finale on June 15, 2023 features artist and host location offerings along with music, food, and performance art on Main Street.
