April 19, 2018 (Moscow, Idaho) -- The City of Moscow is hosting the 10th annual iCount event on April 26, 2018. Volunteers are needed to count pedestrians and bicyclists from 7 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. on that day.
iCount is an event that focuses on collecting data about alternative transportation demographics. Data collected for the event is used for consideration in the development of plans regarding transportation and active modes of alternative transportation. For more information on iCount, please visit http://www.ci.moscow.id.us/180/iCount.
This event is made possible by volunteer counters. Volunteers count the number of pedestrians walking and biking at predetermined locations throughout the City. The data, recorded by our volunteers, can then be compiled to create a visualization of the way in which citizens of Moscow utilize non-motorized transport.
Those interested in volunteering are asked to contact Kelli Cooper, AmeriCorps Sustainability Technician by phone at 208-883-7122 or by email at email@example.com.
