Moscow Mayor's Arts Awards 2018 Nomination Packets Available 


August 8, 2018 (Moscow, Idaho) -- Moscow Mayor's Arts Awards Nomination Packets are now available! 


The Moscow Arts Commission presents the Moscow Mayor’s Arts Awards 2018 to recognize individuals, students, businesses, or organizations who have, through distinguished service or creative accomplishment, made a significant contribution to the arts in Moscow.  Individuals, students, businesses, or organizations who have received any previous Moscow Mayor’s Arts Award are not eligible for nomination. 

Recipients will be honored at the 1912 Center on October 25, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.

Awards will be given in the following categories:
• Individual Excellence in the Arts 
• Arts Advocacy
• Outstanding Achievement in Arts Education
• Outstanding College or University Student in the Arts
• Outstanding Contributions as a Business
• Lifetime Achievement in the Arts

Nominees should be those individuals, students, businesses, or organizations that have made a significant contribution to the arts and cultural climate of the City of Moscow through distinguished support and service or creative accomplishments. The deadline for submissions is Monday, September 24, 2018 by 5:00 p.m.

Nomination forms are available online on the City of Moscow’s website at:
http://www.ci.moscow.id.us/DocumentCenter/View/9660/2018-Mayors-Arts-Awards-Nominee-Packet or pick up a printed copy at Moscow City Hall, 206 East Third Street, on the 1st floor by the Arts Department. 

Please note that Employees of the City of Moscow, previous Mayor’s Arts Award recipients, current Moscow Arts Commission members, or elected officials are not eligible for nomination.
