August 24, 2018 (Moscow, Idaho) — The City of Moscow is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to of the identification of persons responsible for the recent fires set in the 900 block of Palouse River Drive. After further investigation of the fires in this area during the month of August it is believed that the fires were intentionally set. The related incidents include a structure fire involving a storage building August 10, 2018, at approximately 10 a.m. and a structure fire involving three mobile homes on August 14, 2018, at approximately 1 a.m.
These fires have resulted in extensive damage to the structures involved. No injuries have occurred, however each instance creates a danger for the public and first responders.
