World War II Memorabilia Determined to be Training Device

September 27, 2018 (Moscow, Idaho) — The World War II memorabilia piece that appeared to be a land-mine type device that was donated to Goodwill Industries in Moscow, Idaho has been determined by the Spokane Bomb Squad to be training device and is considered safe. City of Moscow Police and Fire officials responded to the Goodwill Industries building at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018, in response to a potential bomb concern. What appeared to be a World War II era land-mine type device had been received at the store. The Spokane Bomb Squad was called to investigate the object. After review, the object was determined to be a training device posing no danger.###
