Public Notice: City of Moscow Will Host Public Workshops for the Edible Forest Park Conceptual Plan



December 10, 2018 (Moscow, Idaho) — The City has recently hired Bernardo Wills Architects to assist with the conceptual planning of the new Edible Forest Park (located along Southview Avenue, east of the intersection of Highway 95 and Southview Avenue at the south end of Moscow). The public is invited to provide input during the conceptual planning for this unique space at one of two upcoming planning workshops. Both workshops are free and open to the public. 
  • Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room of the Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center (1724 F Street). 
  • Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room of the Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center (1724 F Street). 
Bernardo Wills Architects has assisted the City with conceptual planning of other new parks over the past few years.

The Edible Forest Park is located along Southview Avenue, east of the intersection of Highway 95 and Southview Avenue at the south end of Moscow. This unique space is intended to provide educational opportunities and an example to the community of stewardship of a public food forest. The park is intended to create a sense of place and community pride for Moscow for generations to come.
