February 20, 2019 (Moscow, Idaho) — On Thursday, February 28, 2019, the City of Moscow Parks and Recreation Commission will host a public workshop to present the updated draft of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The meeting begins at 5:15 p.m. and will be held in the Multipurpose Room at the Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center (HIRC), 1724 East F Street. Following the presentation, the commission members and the public will have an opportunity to discuss the updated draft.
After the workshop, public comment on the draft will be collected. The draft will be posted on the City of Moscow’s website and available in print at the HIRC. This comment period will be open until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019. Once available for review, comments on the draft can be emailed to Dwight Curtis, Parks and Recreation Director, at email@example.com. Following the conclusion of the public comment period, staff will create a final draft which will be presented to the Parks and Recreation Commission at their Thursday, March 28, 2019 Commission meeting. At the meeting the Commission will either recommend the final draft be submitted to the City Council for approval or will direct staff to make further revisions.
