Third Street Bicycle/Pedestrian Bridge Installation

May 15, 2019 (Moscow, Idaho) —  Installation of the Third Street Bicycle/Pedestrian Bridge is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 16, 2019.

The bridge will be set using a crane, which requires street closures at Third Street and
S. Roosevelt Street and Third Street and S. Mountain View Road, beginning at 7:00 a.m., until approximately 1:00 p.m.

There will be no vehicular access during the installation window and it may be necessary for residents to park vehicles outside the closure area if trips are planned during this time. If you need ADA accessible assistance, please call 208-883-7600.

It is anticipated the bridge setting should take approximately 2 hours and once complete, the street will be reopened for residential access.

Because your safety is of utmost priority, the City is requesting residents and onlookers either stay indoors during the installation or observe from the designated public observation area ONLY, which will be located near the Third Street and S. Roosevelt Street intersection.

Maps of the street closure and observation area can be viewed at:

We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause and thank you for your continued patience.

For questions, please call Public Works Engineering Division 208-883-7034.
