June 18, 2019 (Moscow, Idaho) — Kick off National Farmers Market Week with the Moscow Farmers Market! The fun begins Saturday, August 3rd in Friendship Square at 9 a.m. with fun events and yummy treats. Continue the celebration all week long by following the Moscow Farmers Market on Facebook (@MoscowFarmersMarket) to learn about the importance of farmers markets around the country and the state of Idaho. Finish the week with an interactive historical display at the Farmers Market Commission table in Friendship Square on Saturday, August 10th.
National Farmers Market Week Programming
Saturday, August 3rd:
Veggie Shimmy Dance Party: Dress up like your favorite vegetable and help us turnip the beet! Join in the celebration with a family-friendly, vegetable themed dance party for all ages.
Prize Basket Drawings: Enter for free to win one of three market themed prize baskets.
- Put up the summer’s bounty with a canning themed basket.
- Spiffy up your kitchen with some hand-crafted, value added products.
- Show your regional pride with Palouse and Idaho inspired artisan goods.
To enter into the drawing or learn more about the prizes, stop by the City of Moscow booth at the Moscow Farmers Market on Saturday July 20th, July 27th, and August 3rd! Entry into the drawing closes at 8:50 a.m. on August 3rd with the winners announced at 9:30 a.m., following the Veggie Shimmy Dance Party. Must be present to win.
Yummy Treats: Following the prize basket drawing, yummy treats inspired by our regional food system will be served, while supplies last.

Moscow Farmers Market Historical Display: The Moscow Farmers Market, consistently ranked as the top market in the state of Idaho, is more than 40 years old and still growing! To top off the celebration, the Farmers Market Commission will be showcasing a historical display at their booth on August 10th in Friendship Square.
