Mayor's Youth Advisory Council Recruitment Pool Party

August 1, 2019 (Moscow, Idaho) —  The City of Moscow is hosting a Mayor's Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) Recruitment Pool Party on Monday, August 12 from 4-6 p.m. at the Hamilton-Lowe Aquatics Center located at 830 N Mountain View Road. Entry to the Pool Party will be free to current MYAC members and all youth interested in becoming a member of the MYAC grades 9 through 12 as of the 2019-2020 school year. The Recruitment Pool Party will feature pizza and drinks provided by the City of Moscow.

The MYAC aims to provide a venue for a group of young leaders who, through research, peer discussion, and community engagement, provide a youth perspective to the City of Moscow and greater community. By serving on the MYAC, participants learn about municipal government through engagement with the City of Moscow and are provided the opportunity to gain leadership experience in their community.
