The worlds of woodworking and poetry intersect in the Third Street Gallery's reception for Wood & Word on October 30 from 5-7 p.m. This exhibition is a portrait of two communities entwined, as poets and woodworkers embark on collaborative explorations.
The evening will begin with a viewing in the gallery at 5 p.m. followed by poetry readings beginning at 5:30 p.m. The event is open to the public free of charge and will feature a no-host bar and refreshments provided by Bloom.
The Third Street Gallery is a space for art in the heart of downtown Moscow. City of Moscow Arts Staff and members of the Moscow Arts Commission have worked together to create artistic direction for the Third Street Gallery since the gallery's beginnings in 1998. The gallery features works in a wide range of media, subject matter, and content while presenting a curatorial vision open to all cultures and art forms. By including the work of established and emerging makers from the Palouse and the broader Inland Northwest, the Third Street Gallery celebrates the creative excellence of the region in a well-loved public space.
Third Street Gallery is located on the second and third floors of Moscow City Hall at 206 East Third Street in Moscow, ID. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
