PRESS RELEASE

Cozy at the Third Street Gallery

November 25, 2019 (Moscow, Idaho) -- The Third Street Gallery greets the winter season with Cozy, a fiber art invitational exhibition featuring regional artists. The show will be on display at Moscow City Hall December 9, 2019 - January 31, 2020.

This is a time of year for turning inward, for becoming cozy in the warm spaces and textures of the home. It is also, somewhat paradoxically, a time when people reach out for connections with others in celebration of the season's many holidays.

The fiber arts, with their warmth and reliance on patterns of connection, are a perfect metaphor for winter's balance of social flurries and domestic comforts.

Cozy highlights each maker's personal relationship with materials and processes while revealing how the fiber arts connect the region's artists.
